Tour Information
Guided 1-hour “Whistle Stop” E-Bike Tours around Simon’s Town cultural and historical highlights.
Tours depart approximately every 2 hours.
Maximum 6 guests per tour.
Adults only (18+).

Arrival & Safety
Guests must arrive 15 minutes before departure.
Attendance of the mandatory safety briefing is required.
Tours depart strictly on time and cannot wait for late arrivals.
Guests who miss the safety briefing or departure may loose their booking.

Alcohol & Safety
No guests under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing substances may participate.
Unsafe, reckless, or disruptive riders may be removed from the tour without refund.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Advance Online Bookings
More than 24 hours notice: Full refund.
Less than 24 hours notice: No refund, discretionary voucher possible.
Less than 2 hours notice/no-show: No refund or voucher.
Walk-In & Same-Day Bookings
Non-refundable.
Discretionary voucher may be offered in exceptional cases.

LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
Guests ride at their own risk.
Guests may be financially liable for damage caused by reckless or negligent riding.
Cape Point E-Bike Tours is not responsible for injury, hospitalisation, death, or loss of personal property except where required by law.
All guests must sign an indemnity/liability waiver before riding.

FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. TOUR DESCRIPTION
The Simon’s Town Festival Whistle Stop Tour is an approximately 1-hour guided E-Bike experience introducing guests to selected scenic, cultural and historical highlights of Simon’s Town.

Stops/viewpoints may include:
- Jubilee Square
- Assegai Submarine Museum
- Boulders Beach
- Runciman Drive viewpoint
- Long Beach
- Simon's Town Museum
- South African Naval Museum
- Simon's Town Pier
PLEASE NOTE:Tours do not include attraction entry fees or extended stops.

2. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
Bookings may be made:
Online via the official booking platform; or
In person at the pop-up tour hub.
Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received.

3. TOUR SCHEDULE & ARRIVAL
Guests must arrive at least 15 minutes before departure.
All guests must attend the mandatory safety briefing.
Tours depart strictly on schedule.
Late arrivals may not be permitted to join the tour.
Missing the safety briefing or departure will be treated as a no-show.

4. GROUP SIZE & AGE POLICY
Maximum 6 guests per tour.
Tours are strictly for adults aged 18 years and older.

5. CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & REFUND POLICY
Advance Online Bookings
More than 24 hours notice: Full refund.
Less than 24 hours notice: Non-refundable. A discretionary voucher may be issued for a future Cape Point Nature Reserve tour.
Less than 2 hours notice/no-show: No refund or voucher.

Walk-In & Same-Day Bookings
All walk-in and same-day bookings are final and non-refundable.
Discretionary vouchers may be offered in exceptional circumstances.
Operator Cancellations
Tours may be cancelled, delayed, shortened, or modified due to weather, safety concerns, mechanical issues, or operational reasons.

Where Cape Point E-Bike Tours cancels a tour, guests will be offered:
A full refund; or
Rescheduling where possible.

6. FITNESS, SAFETY & RIDER REQUIREMENTS
Guests confirm that they:
Can ride a bicycle safely and confidently;
Are physically capable of participating; and
Will follow all guide instructions.
Cape Point E-Bike Tours may refuse participation, without refund, to guests who:
Cannot safely control the e-bike;
Miss the safety briefing;
Appear intoxicated or impaired; or
Pose a safety risk.

7. ALCOHOL, DRUGS & BEHAVIOUR
Guests under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing substances will not be permitted to participate.
Unsafe, reckless, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.

8. TOUR FLOW & GROUP MANAGEMENT
Tours operate on a fixed schedule.
Guests may not delay the group for unscheduled stops or activities.
Guests must remain with the group unless instructed otherwise.
Guides may adjust routes, timing, pace, or stops for safety or operational reasons.
Guests disrupting the flow or safety of the tour may be removed without refund.

9. E-BIKE USE, DAMAGE & LIABILITY
Guests are responsible for using all e-bikes and equipment safely and responsibly.
Guests may be financially liable for damage, loss, repair, or replacement costs resulting from:
Reckless or negligent riding;
Unsafe or irresponsible use;
Ignoring guide instructions; or
Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Participation involves inherent risks including falls, collisions, injury, hospitalisation, permanent disability, loss of property, or death.
Guests participate entirely at their own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Cape Point E-Bike Tours, Flow Evolution, its owners, guides, staff, contractors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for:
Personal injury;
Medical or hospital costs;
Death or loss of life;
Loss, theft, or damage to personal property; or
Any damages arising from participation in the tour,
except where caused by gross negligence or unlawful conduct by the operator.

All guests must sign the Cape Point E-Bike Tours Indemnity & Liability Waiver before participating.

10. WEATHER & ROUTE CHANGES
Tours operate in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe.
Routes, stops, and timings may change due to:
Weather;
Traffic;
Public events;
Safety concerns; or
Operational requirements.

11. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA
Photos and videos may be taken during tours for promotional purposes.
By participating, guests consent to such use unless they notify the guide before departure.

12. RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED
Cape Point E-Bike Tours reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any guest whose behaviour compromises safety, operations, or the experience of others.

13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
